Notes:  This snail spends most of its time on the live rock or on the glass eating the various types of algae it comes across.  Trochus snails are popular for those who want to raise snails.  For best results, house the snails in an aquarium free of hermit crabs which eat the egg ribbons.  We recommend 1 top snail per 2 gallons of aquarium volume.
